Ferry Corsten goes unplugged on new single ‘Not Coming Down’
The new Ferry Corsten single Not Coming Down is going unplugged. Taken from Ferry’s highly successful studio album WKND, the original dance version of Not Coming Down has been entirely stripped down to the bare essence. Ferry’s drum computer and rhythm sections were bypassed for the occasion, transforming the single into a highly atmospheric ballad. Whereas the original radio edit enters into a huge big riffed festival worthy drop after 1,5 minutes, the “Acoustic Edit” remains subtle, complimented with the enchanting voice of New York’s very own Betsie Larkin.
During the 8-hour non-stop NYE broadcast of Corsten’s Countdown on the influential SiriusXM in New York, simultaneously aired on SiriusXM, Corsten’s global radio partners, the Corsten’s Countdown website and the official Ferry Corsten iPhone and Android app, Betsie Larkin introduced the unplugged version live to an international audience of millions. Hashtag #cc12 as well as twitter accounts @ferrycorsten and @ferrycorstencc became trending during the broadcast in countries such as the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, Japan, Argentina, Mexico and The Netherlands.
